Elizade University Journals (EUJ)

Elizade University Journals (EUJ) is committed to providing free, unrestricted access to high-quality scholarly research. All articles published in EUJ are immediately available online without subscription or paywall restrictions.

1. Open Access Model

EUJ follows the Gold Open Access model, ensuring that the final published version of every article is freely accessible to readers worldwide. Articles can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, or linked to without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

2. Licensing

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing:

  • Sharing — copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format
  • Adaptation — remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use

Proper attribution to the original authors, EUJ, and a link to the license is required.

3. DOI Assignment

Each published article in EUJ is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through a recognized DOI registration agency. The DOI provides a permanent, unique, and citable link to the article online, ensuring long-term accessibility and reliable referencing.

Authors should always use the DOI when citing the article to guarantee accurate and persistent linking.

4. Author Rights

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting EUJ the right of first publication. Authors may:

  • Reuse their work in subsequent publications
  • Deposit the article in institutional or personal repositories
  • Share the article freely online

5. No Access or Subscription Fees

Readers and institutions have free access to all published content. The open-access model maximizes visibility, citation potential, and impact globally.

6. Funding and Article Processing Charges (APC)

EUJ may require an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover peer review, editing, DOI registration, and online hosting. Fee waivers or reductions are available under specific circumstances, particularly for authors from low-income regions.

7. Compliance with Open Access Mandates

EUJ supports compliance with institutional, funding agency, and governmental open-access policies. Authors may deposit published articles in repositories while respecting licensing terms.
