    The EU Journal of Library and Information Sciences (EU-JLIS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the University Library at Elizade University. The journal is dedicated to the advancement of scholarly research, professional practice, and theoretical development in the field of library and information science.

    EU-JLIS provides a scholarly platform for librarians, information scientists, academics, researchers, and knowledge management professionals to publish original research articles, review papers, case studies, and conceptual studies that address contemporary issues in library services, information management, digital librarianship, and knowledge systems.

    Submission Guidelines

    Cover Page Requirements

    • Title of the manuscript
    • Author(s)’ full name(s) with surname underlined
    • Institutional affiliation(s)
    • Email address(es) and phone number(s)
    • Abstract: Maximum 250 words
    • Keywords: 4–5 keywords
    • Language: English or French

    Manuscript Formatting

    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
    • Line spacing: 1.5 throughout; single spacing for abstract and block quotations
    • Length: Maximum 18 pages
    • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

    Referencing and Citation

    • Acceptable styles: APA 7th edition or MLA 9th edition
    • Authors are encouraged to cite indigenous scholarship where applicable
    • At least 70% of references should be recent (within the last 10 years), except in exceptional cases

    Plagiarism Policy

    • Manuscripts must not exceed 20% similarity (checked via Turnitin)

    • Authors are advised to cite indigenous authors as much as possible, and a minimum of 70% of the total references should not be more than 10 years old except in exceptional cases.
